Where this word comes from

Named after the company Enso Träsliperi Aktiebolaget, which established a mechanical pulp mill in the area; the community was established around it in the 1880s. The name of the company, founded by Carl August Standertskjöld, was likely irregularly derived from the word ensi (“first”), because it was the first significant project to harness the power of the Vuoksi river for industrial purposes.
