Where this word comes from
Borrowed from English LDK, Wasei eigo (和製英語; pseudo-anglicism) initialism of living room + dining room + kitchen. By surface analysis, リビング (ribingu) + ダイニングキッチン (dainingu kitchin), where リビング (ribingu), itself being an ellipsis of リビングルーム (ribingu rūmu, “living room”), while ダイニング (dainingu) is an ellipsis of ダイニングルーム (dainingu rūmu, “dining room”).
Try it on your idea.
