Where this word comes from

Internationalism, based on English Swaziland, from Swazi (“Swazi”) + land (“country, territory”). English Swazi is ultimately from Swazi Mswati, the regnal name of Mswati II, after whom the Swazi people came to be named. The English ethnonym may have been transmitted through a neighbouring Nguni form such as Zulu iSwazi. Mswati II greatly expanded and consolidated the kingdom during the nineteenth century. The deeper etymology of the personal name Mswati is uncertain. Compare Norwegian Nynorsk Swaziland, Danish Swaziland, Swedish Swaziland, German Swasiland and English Swaziland.
