Despite having only 90 inhabitants, Bronkhorst received city rights in 1482 and is therefore classed as a city. * (Noord-Brabant) Attested as weilanden genaamd Bronkhorst in 1848. Potentially derived from Bronkhorst (a surname). The surname derives from one of the toponyms.
